Digitek® (Heart Drug) Recall
The FDA has issued a recall on Digitek® tablets, which may contain
twice the approved level of digoxin.
Digitek® (digoxin) tablets are used to treat heart failure and
abnormal heart rhythms. The existence of double-strength pills pose
a risk of digitalis toxicity. The result can lead to nausea,
vomiting, low blood pressure, cardiac instability, bradycardia and
even death.
