Clam Gulch Lodge is the ideal Home Base for your family, group of friends or corporate retreat, located on the Kenai Peninsula, AK. The lodge has five bedrooms and four bathrooms to comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. When renting both the Main Lodge and the Eagles Nest Cabin a total of 16 guests may be accommodated.
The Lodge is your Alaskan home base for outdoor adventures and indoor hospitality. Set on the stunningly rustic terrain of the Kenai Peninsula, Clam Gulch Lodge offers guests breathtaking views of the "Ring of Fire" volcanoes - Mt. Redoubt, Iliamna, and Spurr, which provides a picturesque backdrop to Cook Inlet. A hearty, healthy Alaskan breakfast is served every morning. In addition, we have a covered porch for you to prepare other meals during your stay. If you prefer to eat dinner at a local establishment, we will gladly recommend one that meets your desired cuisine and budget. Clam Gulch provides a cozy sanctuary for those guests who prefer to relax, play a game of horseshoes, sit around the fire pit, or bask in Alaska's midnight sun.
Our over 10-acre oceanfront property is conveniently located near world-renowned fresh and saltwater fishing and all of the other outdoor activities on the Kenai Peninsula – Alaska’s Playground. In addition to the world-class fishing, the area offers razor clamming, hiking, canoeing/kayaking/white water rafting, wildlife viewing and birding, flightseeing tours, nature-based tours, photography, culinary quests, sled dog rides and winter sports. There are also numerous cultural activities, including museums, visitor centers, historic sites, art galleries, theater, musical performances, and craft/farmers’ markets.

Today, guests can hunt bison, elk, turkey, deer, occasional exotics, and predators on the 400 acres surrounding the Lodge. Turkey and deer require state permits but bison and elk do not require state licensing.
The bison hunts are unique to the area and come as an all-inclusive package deal that covers lodging, meals and other considerations. There is also hiking, bison tours, bird watching, and it’s a Dark Sky destination for star-gazing.
For an additional fee, if you prefer, we can have our professional butcher in our butcher shop meat vacuum seal, pack and label your meats.
But that’s not all….the lower level of the Lodge houses a Gift Shop fully stocked with our amazing range of creative products, as well as the Copper Bison Tasting Room which features an extensive collection of superior wines from ten different Nebraska wineries, in addition to an impressive selection of bourbons, beer and other spirits.
Visitors can book rooms at the Lodge as needed and it’s also available for business conferences, corporate seminars, workshops, weddings, family reunions, private retreats, graduations and receptions. The Lodge itself sleeps 30 people. During the days of the Comstock Windmill Festival, performers such as Ted Nugent, Neal McCoy, Clay Walker and the band Emerson Drive stayed at the Lodge.
