At Rooster Haven Hunt Club, we offer hunting opportunities for Dove, Pheasant, Duck, Deer, And Turkey in Forrest IL. We are small enough to know you by name and large enough to handle any corporate outing. Rooster Heaven is a 2,500-acre, family-owned and operated hunting preserve established in 2000.  Three generations of the Harms family run the facility:  Patrick and his wife Julie (Owner), Duke (Pat’s Father), Cole and Wyatt (2 of Pat’s Sons). Right now, we are hunting - Pheasant: September 15th to March 31st! With 26 plots averaging 20 to 40 acres each with a unique cover, depending on the challenge you and your dog are looking for. The plots are large enough that if you happen to miss a shot there is a good chance it will land back in your area and your dog will not be bumping into other dogs.  Birds are raised on the preserve in large natural pens with no human contact until the day they are released into the field of your choice. Duck: September 15th to March 31st. Along with the DNR, wetlands were developed on the preserve for duck habitat.  The ducks are raised on the preserve at a barn within flying distance to the pond and they will travel back and forth between the wetlands and their barn throughout the day offering opportunities for hunters. We love our members and want to get them out here hunting! So, all members receive price discounts on just about everything Hunting, Guides, Lodging, and Vegan Hunting. Individual Membership – Includes single hunter, but allows for guests to join you at $50 per guest. Family Membership – Includes spouse and their children, also allows for guests to join you at $50 per guest. Corporate Membership – Includes 160 birds and designation of 3 company representatives as members, one must be present at every hunt. Members may bring guests for $25 per guest with this package. “Alaska small boat cruises” and “Small Alaska Cruise Ship” are terms that the “mid-size” cruise ships have adopted to describe their Alaska Inside Passage cruises and cruise boats carrying 40-80 passengers. But, there is a real difference between the Alaska cruise experience and “up close wildlife viewing” that these boats offer compared to the relaxed cruising atmosphere and intimate wildlife encounters we have onboard the Discovery. In most of the places that we visit even 20 people seems like a crowd for an Alaska cruise and it is a well known fact that your chances of seeing wildlife are better in smaller groups. The glow of filtered light on mahogany paneling sets the mood to one of relaxation. Picture windows offer panoramic views from every room. Discovery has 4 spacious common areas (Main Salon, separate Dining Salon, Forward Lounge and Fantail).
